This is a great Blu-Ray and audio in all aspects. I immediately noticed a significant increase in the quality of my old Blu-Ray (a Samsung), both in audio and video! Film (Blu-Ray and standard DVD), a much more clear and precise! This is truly a benchmark Blu-Ray! The transport is very fast and looks nice and "industrial" robust, it is simply a pleasure to use. The player looks very cool too (not plasticy or cheap looking at all). The on-screen menus are very well presented and very easy to upgrade the firmware (via the built-in Ethernet jack or via a USB drive or a disk).
The remote is comfortable to use. It is backlit and the key layout is logical.
I want this player is $ 100. worse, because it is a bit 'expensive (if it was $ 399. would be 5 stars hands down). On the positive side, it comes with 2 high quality video and audio calibration Blu-Ray and the build quality and packaging of the player is top notch.
Yes, it's expensive, but worth it if you all with a player of reference quality. I do not regret my purchase at all and I've enjoyed every disc I played so far. Even home-made DVDs look great improvement to 1080p full!
