Just received the BD and I personally think it is a great product. Can not be beat for the price. Easy to configure and I particularly like the sync feature with my new Sony flat screen. Just open the tray instead of your comic and everything that is without using a remote control that is really cool stuff! All you have to do is push the "Play" and you're in it depends on your BD. 1080p is what it is. You're there with the characters that you can almost hear. Watch the planet Earth is like you are the person in a balloon flight or sailing or whatever you used to film scenes in the air. It's Like, you're really there. BD booty really. After watching a BD with the quality of the average reader prices Sony, I do not expect any regular old DVD. BDS is going to be the norm in the future, so you better have a good quality player like Sony now! Whatever the model, Sony or Denon the best quality around. Depends only on the $ amount spent. The financial resources or the environment, Sony. Big Money, Denon. What is the man.

Sony claims to be able to play multiple formats (mkv most interestingly). I bought this device after learning it had DLNA support.
