After much research I went with this BluRay player, which had rave reviews for its picture and sound, and the list of features WiFi. For the points I was very happy with this player. The Netflix feature is damn near perfect, and I had zero problems. YouTube service is useless, but it works. You can not work without your subscription with the player and was watching YouTube videos generic "popular", largely defeat the best feature of YouTube.
As for the future, I had the player more than 4 months and have had firmware updates, at least 4 times. One of them brought a new film service Demand for the player, which I doubt I would use, but it keeps me hoping that LG will continue to add features like this, I would especially like to see a [.. .] Service. My fear is that this game will give an update when they put their latest Blu-ray and force me to buy one if I want to access their latest streaming site that offers.
This is my first run with a product of LG, and I hope does not disappoint. So far I am perfectly satisfied.

Sony claims to be able to play multiple formats (mkv most interestingly). I bought this device after learning it had DLNA support.
